DAT1: ORGANIC INDUSTRIAL RAW MATERIAL

The “dat1” is an industrial organic material designed to replace environmentally and health-damaging plastics. In terms of its ingredients, it does not contain other substances (micro-plastics, petroleum derivatives, metals) apart from organic substances. A hydrophobic surface can be formed on products made of dat1 material using a self-developed coating, which enables the production of a wide range of products.

The advantage of dat1 is that after use, products made from this raw material can be completely decomposed in the environment without leaving any residue or can be composted at home. According to the tests, the decomposed product has a soil-improving effect. Another great advantage is that it is fully compatible with existing injection molding technologies.

If it is soluble in water, how can it be made into a product in contact with water?

Coated with a self-developed, also organic material, the manufactured product will be waterproof. In technical terms, we make it water-repellent by “creating a hydrophobic surface”.

Are the products made from this more expensive than if they were made from traditional plastic?

No. The production price of products made from DAT1 raw material is no more expensive than products said to be degradable on the market.

Does someone need a special machine to produce a product from this material?

No. The production process can be started by filling the DAT1 material into traditional injection molding machines.
